Old movies have aways spoken to my romantic sensibilities. While the plots, actors, music and dancing make the movies enjoyable for me, I think the fashion is one of the biggest draws. Everyone looks so dressed up in their suits, dresses and coats. But most of all it is the hats. Everything from the over the top style of Audrey Hepburn’s hat for Ascot in My Fair Lady.
To the more classic style of William Powell and Myrna Loy as Nick and Nora Charles.
